ARcTIC VALLEY ALPENGLOW LODGE WEDDING | Sierra and Troy – MARRIED |
This wedding held and extra special place in my heart. Almost a year and a half ago I was just starting Bare Bones Co. Sierra asked me if I would shoot her and Troy’s engagement photos, terrified because I hadn’t worked much with couples I tried to tell her she should talk to a wedding photographer because they normally couple engagement sessions in with their wedding package. At the time I hadn’t giving wedding photography much thought. But Sierra insisted, enter their Eklutna Lake engagement session that went way better than expected. So much so they asked me to shoot their wedding, ahh! So far out my comfort zone I reluctently said yes! At this time I had only shot two weddings as favors and I don’t think they were ever even made public. I think we actually only signed paperwork for this big day a month or so before their wedding because Ididnt even have contracts when they hired me. Little do Sierra and Troy know, they were my motivation over the last year to work harder and make sure this photography thing panned out. Every time I got discourages or frustrated I remembered I had this wedding and I couldn’t give up before it got here. And guys, their wedding was so so special! I cried my eyes out, multiple times. Im so happy I got to be a part of this day and thank you Sierra and Troy for believing in me so long ago! Congrats to the happy couple!
