Bride and Groom downtown Seattle

When I think back to Julia and Kiki’s wedding day I remember asking Julia if she reserved a Seattle Pier spot for their wedding, she laughed and said no I’ll be in a wedding dress in the middle of downtown, who’s going to say no to me? And no one did. Julia and Kiki tied the know on the pier, surrounded by friends and family, and an entire cruise ship of watchers! As they said “I Do”, all those who were rolling in gave them a standing ovation and congratulated them.

This wedding was so fun to photograph! Kiki and Julia made it so personal. They added vintage flares throughout, from the jewelry to the music, it was classic. And SPEAKING of classic, they rented a mustang to snap pics on a rooftop parking structure and drive the streets of Downtown Seattle at sunset. It was a magical city wedding! I was so lucky to witness their love and document their unique and spontaneous day.

We hired McKenzie to take photos for our wedding and couldn’t have been more thrilled with the experience! She was extremely professional and timely with her communication. She is committed to her clients, takes absolutely stunning photos and strives to provide the best experience possible. Not many photographers that would be willing to take engagement photos in January at 20 below… but McKenzie did! She was a dream on our wedding day, keeping us calm and reminding us to enjoy the little moments. We loved working with her and are thankful to now call her a friend! If you have any doubts, push them aside, she will exceed all your expectations!
