Rainy Alaskan Wedding at Lone Moose Lodge
I’ve never shot a more rainy, and more beautiful wedding than this modern Alaskan wedding on the Kenai River at Lone Moose Lodge.
Tyler and Brian tied the knot this summer and their wedding was SO. MUCH. FUN. A wedding day can be stressful enough, but when the weather decides not to cooperate it can really throw a wrench in things. But hey, they do say rain on your wedding say is lucky, well these two must be the luckiest because it rained almost the entire day, except for the 30 minutes during their ceremony. They said their “I Do’s” at the Lone Moose Lodge on the Kenai River in Alaska.
The Alaskan rain actually made for a moody and cozy atmosphere within the wood-covered walls. The florals and modern decor touches made for such amazing photo ops to document the day. The guests really let loose and created a killer atmosphere that I was able to capture in some truly epic photos. The bridal party pulled out all the stops for these two, and it made for a day filled with laughs, liquor, and love! Doesn’t get much better than that.
Rain or shine, Lone Moose Lodge is always the perfect place for a wedding, and as a photographer, I’m always excited to come back to this lodge which feels like a little slice of heaven on the Kenai River.
