From the University of Washington’s collegiate gothic style architecture to Imperia Lake Union elegant Gastby era design. Kase and Alyssa’s day nailed the moody fall wedding vibes in East Lake Seattle.
Obviously Im biases but, fall is a magical season for weddings, and my personal favorite. The crisp air, the vibrant colors of the leaves, and the cozy atmosphere undeniably create the perfect setting for an intimate and elegant celebration. When it comes to fall weddings, outdoor locations are often the go-to touch. Picture exchanging vows under a canopy of colorful autumn leaves or against a breathtaking sunset backdrop. This setting will add a touch of romance and natural beauty to your special day. Kase and Alyssa opted to do their first look at the University of Washington, Seattle Campus. Between the botanical gardens and the modern architectural backdrops, the fall vibes were in full send.
When it comes to attire on Kase and Alyssa’s wedding day, the two went for a modern elegance with a nod to vintage charm. AND BOY DID THEY NAIL IT. A fitted gown with delicate details and a plunging back paired with classic curls was the perfect look for the bride to evoke a sense of modern romance. For the groom, a tailored velvet suit in a deep, rich dark forrest green color and a bow tie completed the sophisticated look. For the wedding party, the brides side wore a perfectly mismatched dresses in deep pinks and reds. Equally important was the Groom’s side, the boys crew was looking extra sharp in classic black suits and ties.
Afterward, when photos were done, we all arrived at one of my favorite venues in Seattle – Imperia Lake Union. Imperia offers a historic and roaring 20’s Art-Deco vibe. This was my second time shooting at this venue, the first being a brisk spring day . Imperia continues to impress me with their extremely helpful staff. Later we partied the night away, with cut outs of Kase and Alyssa’s dog and surprise choreographed family dances.
Undeniably, fall weddings will always hold a special spot in my heart. However I’ll be hard pressed to say the details and weather of this modern fall wedding in Seattle, Washington might be hard to top. Congrats to Kase and Alyssa on their special day.
