It’s giving funk, its giving 70s and it’s giving winter wonderland and let me tell you, there was definitely a lot of snow! I was lucky enough to capture this stunning frozen waterfall, styled winter elopement at Virgin Creek Falls in Girdwood Alaska. And of course, what elopement is complete without the floral magic by Yarrow and Co. that were absolutely to die for.
The bride wore a beautiful, white blazer suit with a faux fur jacket with you guessed it -xtratuffs for her bridal shoes. While the groom looked equally as stylish in his Carhart overalls and vintage bolo tie and matching xtratuffs. Between the two of them, Jocelyn and Nick just screamed Alaskan style. The winter weather added a magical touch to the whole scene.
The florals provided by Yarrow and Co were truly something special. Hannah -the owner and brains behind Yarrow and Co- creates floral bouquets are always stunning but there is something about a winter bouquet that just hits different. This one in particular was so vibrant and really brought a sense of life to the snowy setting. The bouquet was filled with bright pinks, beautiful purples, and whites that really made the photos pop against the snow. It was truly a sight to see!
The whole shoot was so much fun and it was a true joy to capture these moments. If you’re looking for some inspiration for your own winter elopement, look no further. The snow, florals, and funky styling will have you dreaming of your own winter wonderland wedding.
